Parish Councillors

John Lawton - John.lawton@knaptonvillage.org

Julie Myhill - Julie.Myhill@knaptonvillage.org

Alistair Cargill - Alistair.cargill@knaptonvillage.org

Bianca Cini - Bianca.cini@knaptonvillage.org

"I am the Finance and Business Manager for a local GP practice and have worked within the NHS for the past 17 years. Throughout my career, I have developed extensive experience in financial management, governance, and supporting community services.
I have previously served as a governor at Mundesley School, where I was also Chair of the Finance Committee. This role strengthened my commitment to supporting local communities and ensuring strong financial stewardship.

I have lived in Knapton since 2021, having previously lived in Paston. As a parent of three children, two adults and one aged six, I understand the importance of providing safe, welcoming spaces for families.

I am particularly passionate about the new playground project on parish land. I have been actively applying for grants and funding opportunities to help bring this project to life. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable outdoor space where children can play, be active, and build lasting memories within our community."

Susan Bullock - Susan.bullock@knaptonvillage.org

Susan has been a resident of the parish for the past ten years and brings a wealth of professional and community experience to her role as a Parish Councillor. While she does not currently hold a specific council position, Susan is particularly focused on improving engagement, communication, and open dialogue between the Parish Council and local residents.

Before retiring in 2006, Susan worked as a Change Management Consultant with a Building Society, developing strong skills in organisational development, communication, and stakeholder engagement. Following her retirement, she successfully ran a smallholding for ten years and later established and managed a popular bed and breakfast business in Swafield.

Susan has a long history of community involvement. She served as a committee member for the Norfolk Smallholders Training Group and coordinated their Annual Show at Sheringham Park for a decade. She was also an active member of the Swafield Village Hall and Fete Committee for ten years and has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the Knapton Fete over the same period.

Susan is passionate about strengthening community connections and ensuring parishioners have a voice in local decision-making. Her current priority is to support meaningful engagement with residents regarding the potential re-siting and improvement of the village playing field.

Susan lives in the parish with her husband, Edward, who is an Old Pastonian originally from Sheringham, further strengthening her connection to the local area.
